As Group Executive Vice President, EMEA, Ruediger leads the work of the EMEA team to expand our talent and career management expertise across borders. In addition, Ruediger is focused on Strategic Client Management, developing solutions for clients across the ManpowerGroup of companies. He is a member of Right Management's Executive Leadership Team as well as a member of the Global Leadership Team for the ManpowerGroup of companies. Ruediger is based in Bad Homburg.
In his prior role, Ruediger served as General Manager, Central Europe, providing talent and career management consulting services and solutions to Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Spain, Italy and Poland—leading Right Management’s expansion into Eastern Europe. Ruediger joined Right Management in September 2007 as Country Manager for Germany. He demonstrated a keen understanding of the market’s growing talent management challenges and needs through reinforced customer relationships and projects on a national and international scale, while developing a staff of highly skilled talent under his leadership.
Ruediger has significant business experience, initially as an HR consultant working with customers in Sales and Marketing, as Human Resources Director and Managing Director for Schneider Electric in Germany and Paris, and then with BPI Group leading their expansion into Germany and Poland. He then formed his own consulting firm specialising in Management Development and training.
Schaefer earned a degree in Sociology and Social Psychology from Frankfurt University. He has also taken part in a strategic internal Management Training programme (MBA level) with Schneider Electric.
