Business Challenge: How do we move a merged organisation toward better alignment?

A recently merged national government entity was presented with the challenge of integrating 1,500 new employees into an existing culture. They needed to address their high priority of ensuring that areas of the department were working together effectively to implement the Government’s agenda.

Right Management was called upon to reinvigorate the employee survey process to ensure buy in from all employees of the newly merged culture. Our consultants firstly conducted interviews with the Executive and HR teams then conducted employee focus groups. The newly branded online survey was administered to over 6,000 employees across Australia.

Right Management provided a comprehensive results summary and analysis. Our consultants are also frequently called upon to advise managers in the process of converting survey findings into action plans for their teams…a process crucial to maintaining the department’s historically high levels of employee engagement.

The client was delighted that despite a 25% increase in their employee population, Right Management’s survey process resulted in participation levels consistent with previous surveys, and continued high levels of employee engagement.
